Thankful Still!

It felt like all the crap in the world fell last July 3rd. As I was into selfies at that time, I could clearly how my skin changed right after dinner. The first selfie was taken before dinner, and the next one was taken after. The headache, palpitations, and all the sick feelings kicked in right after the dinner. Unfortunately, I was the only one left in our house, our place was flooded due to heavy rains on that night, and my youngest brother will be back by midnight due to the crazy traffic brought about by the rain and the flood.

I managed to call my brother and asked if I’d be dead in a couple of hours (I still can’t believe why I came up with such a question). With his assurance that I’d be okay, he then instructed me to eat sugar and drink Sprite. And boom! I did what’s being told, and I felt better.

I’ve deleted the name in my phone’s contact’s list. I, for one, know that I’ve tried hard or at least made an effort to let the person feel my presence despite the distance. The distance may be the issue, but what makes it really unbearable is the uncertainty that goes with silence, which I believe is not the healthy one. And while I can confidently say that the person’s out of my system, I still value what we have had. But when my effort of reaching out just got a who-you-sort-of-reply, what happened? When the person found out it’s me…. hmm end of story. I would have to admit that I got mad. But my aunt has her own way of telling me that it’s for a good reason. =)

WordPress has incorporated a few changes in its platform. The right side is where you see the platform used for typing the content of the blog. The left side, meanwhile, is reserved for Status, Publish, Sharing, Tags & Categories, Location, Featured Image, Excerpt, and Advanced Settings, all arranged vertically.

It’s been a week since I ate that fish and got poisoned thrice! Fortunately, all I needed was a liter and half Sprite and a handful of sugar. I’m all good since that incident, so a medical intervention is no longer needed.

I have decided to stay hopeful despite the uncertainties coming in the way. These, for one, are all made up and are results of overthinking and overanalyses. So, there’s still hope and this reminds of the ones left in Pandora’s box. HOPE!

Going to the office once in a while somehow prompts me to see how things have changed in the office and in our team. Several people have resigned, and some are planning to resign.

Life is best played without a script, still. And random meetups are ♥.

I finally convinced my aunt (Papa’s distant relative who stays in our place while waiting for her flight abroad) to invest. Finally! After a couple of times sharing some investment insights to her.

I would have to admit that I was really disappointed about what happened. But there was no room for not-so-good feels at that time. I was with my friends and we let the good times roll! If it weren’t for them, I might go and dwell on that missed chance. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case. 🙂

My friend will be celebrating his birthday on the week after next week. I thought of sending him a singing birthday card. Two reasons: I want to greet him and I thought of sending one when we were in college. The thought of making one of your plans (especially the ones planned way baaaaack then) come true excites me! 🙂

I’ll stick to no read no buy in BOOKS! There is a long pile of unread books in my place, so… no buy for now.

Do You Know What You Want?

If you’d like to listen to this song, please go here. 🙂

Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want

Someone who treats you right
Stay with you day and night
I can tell that’s what you need
I know just what to do
I’ll take good care of you
Baby, you can get that from me

I can tell she’s not treating you right
Every time you look at me
(Do you know what you want)
So which one will you choose
You look so confused

Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
(Do you know what you want)
Do you know what you want
(Do you know what you want)
What you want

Love’s so hard to find
So make up your mind
Do you know what you want

Oh baby, can’t you see
One minute you’re with me
The next one you are all over her
She talks behind your back
You know I’ll stay on track
Something she wouldn’t for sure

How can I help you to make up your mind
Boy, you’re running out of time
(Do you know what you want)
So which one will you choose
You look so confused

Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
(Do you know what you want)
Yes, I know what I want
(Do you know what you want)

(Give me love)
Love’s so hard to find
So make up your mind
(Make up your mind)
Do you know what you want

Please call me and say I am the one
You need in your life, oh baby
The game that you play ain’t no fun
Please answer me now
Gotta know what you want

Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want

I can tell she’s not treating you right
Every time you look at me
(Do you know what you want)
So which one will you choose
Oh, you look so confused

Tell me, tell me the truth
How can I help you to make up your mind
Boy, you’re running out of time
(Do you know what you want)
So which one will you choose
You look so confused

Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
(Yes I know, what I want)
Do you know what you want
(Tell me what do you want)

Do you know what you want
(Tell me, love’s so hard to find)
Love’s so hard to find
So make up your mind
(Make up your mind)
Do you know what you want

The Attraction

Image

“I was always attracted not by some quantifiable, external beauty but by something deep down, something absolute. Just as some people have a secret love for rainstorms, earthquakes, or blackouts, I liked that certain undefinable something” – Haruki Murakami
